Domaining Success!

This morning I read Rick Schwartz's latest blog entry. I thought it was fantastic and wanted to share.

He has been around domains since 1996 (USA), and has made a fortune.

He has friends and enemies alike, and sometimes it seems as if he just likes being controversial!

But this post talks about creating a Revenue Engine from your domains - but importantly doing it one day at a time. Little steps to great success.

Met Rick a few times. He is the reason I got in to domaining back in 2001 AND stayed, and not bombed out like many "newbies" with a fat credit card bill on useless domain registrations.

I found his then public forum (in its first year or so), and have been a member ever since, through all its phases - and there have been many phases of his forum.
Now his forum is pretty much dead, and most people from there (who lasted all the culls and Nexts - his version of Trump's "Your Fired") have moved to DBR.

Certainly an inspirational, yet controversial guy. Love him or hate him, I can't/won't ever say anything bad about him (unlike some others). If it wasn't for him, his teachings and advice, I wouldn't be a self employed domain-developer like I am now

Something that allows you to earn money, while you lie down by pool - and not do conventional work - just have a cocktail in 1 hand and a hot bird (if ur a single male) by your side while the $$ come in

Most commonly achieved with type-in domains plugged in to lead gen or an affiliate program of some sorts (adult?).

I remember the days when I used to earn most of my money while I slept (as it was coming from the US). Kind of made me want to stay in bed. haha
