Critique my niche motorbike site

I have this niche motorbike forum @ postiebike.com.au. A postie bike is exactly what you think it is; the motorbike posties ride around on but it's also known as a Honda CT110. They're pretty popular amongst a small minority of people.

It gets 1-2 opt ins and 35-40 UV a day, so I know people are actively looking to purchase these. I approached a few of the other businesses who actually sell them but none of them were interested in buying leads even though they sell the bikes themselves (I'm talking about $5 tops).

I began a forum on there but it's been pretty slow going. It's getting a few posts so there is hope I guess.

As much as I'd like to buy the bikes at auction, repair, get them road worthy and then sell them on for a profit I can't because I can't even change a car tyre.

Don't like seeing it regulated to an AdSense site but perhaps I'll have to accept it's fate as that. It makes $25-$30 a month just as it is.

Anything you would do different?

One minor suggestion I have; on the main site, where you have the Forum link, change the link so it's a direct link to the forum. For a moment I thought it was a "coming soon" page, but instead I had to find the forum link again within the page.

Done!

I also need to fix up a bunch of title tags but it's not a priority right now.

take out a small ad in Australia Post Employees magazine - there are bunches of mail sorters that aspire to be posties working in the fresh air that would spend a lot of time in the forum posting to posties who work for Australia Post - or you could post invitations in the mail to ask Australia Post emplyees to join the forum to post to their postie mates - just address the post invivitation to mail soter , second row, third shift, wearing the yellow safety vest c/o post mail sorting centre (there you go - all your meta tags taken care of at no charge)

Would be playing around with this text "Great Deals On A Postie Bike". The opt in % sounds to me like it could be improved. Might need more explanation on what they are signing up for, eg how often are emails sent, how much will they save?

The site looks a bit spammy with the number of ads on the front page. Would experiment to see if change the ad number effects signup rate.

There is a privacy policy on the site.

People signing up via email aren't really signing up for anything, I just wanted to capture their emails in case the situation changes and I can sell them this specific model of motorbike.

Not one of my best sites but as I like riding motorbikes, it was something I had hoped would turn into something more.

Yeah I see, I wonder then if the the signup process can be integrated with the forum? eg they are signing for membership of the site with money saving deals (even though they won't get that for a while), reviews, opinions about postie bikes etc?
