Trying to get as much speed as I can for a global site.

check your emails when done, i think you might have to add an a record once the dns is changed?
i gave it a quick go but so many things broke i went back, my mind wasted on problem solving i just wanted it to work, but i have heard nothing but good things about it and i'll try again another day.

Trying to get as much speed as I can for a global site.

It can help a lot. I like CloudFlare, but AWS Route53 and CloudFront are also nice and well supported.

It can also do minification etc. so if you also enable that in some caching plugins you can run into issues.
