Aussie company sends flowers to get FutureSuper.com, auDA interviewed.

To buy a .com.au domain, someone needs to have a connection with the name -- for example, holding a matching trademark or registered business name. This is in part meant to deal with 'cyber-squatters', shrewd internet users who buy up names en masse, in the hope that they will be worth something someday.

Did the IP solicitor really say that? What a False and misleading statement?

"
We're introducing laws around deceptively similar names," Boardman told 10 daily

"Laws"? Policy rules at best.
So what is deemed "deceptively similar" when a new commercial au namespace is introduced, having an exact matching domain to your own....?

Hey, what was that company called again? OK, I got it, now was it .au or .com.au?
