It is probably because we invest a shit load of government money into Training athletes where other countries do not.

Also Australian families are the type to really push their kids into sport from a young age to get into a specific sport, where other countries are more focused on pushing their kids into school/uni ect.

jame i thnk you have it. a good friend of mine also with young kids said to me the other daythat they have directly linked dexterity eg: playing and sport with good scholastic achievements.

Being in Japan currently, I missed the entire F1 race which I watch religiously. I`m a tad peeved that I missed Mark`s win.

HOW WEIRD !, i just had my 3yr son on my lap trying to find some footage of marks win on youtube.

F1 have blocked any footage for copyright reasons

basically mark got out in front and stayed there ! but it was apparently the closest finish in years with the first 5 spots all within a second or 2 of each other

Mark was on pole position and stayed there because its impossible to pass at Monoco so it comes down to the pit stop. Weber was actually slow but no other driver could pass him. Good on him though, thats 2 out of the last 3 at Monoco for Weber the Wimbledon of F1.

your right, i've been to monte carlo, a very cramped place to live, i was in Nice and i meet these 2 gorgeuos american girls and said "lets go to the casino" , so they tarted themselve up and we caught the train up, walk straight down to the casino where we were stopped at the front door and the guy said "thats YOUR casino over there" whilst point to something that looked like the rooty hill RSL.

basically poker machines and no decor, so i put a coin in a poker machine and bloody won 200 Francs ! so i grabbed the girls and we went out for dinner with the bragging rights of " i've won in monte carlo"

i've been through that tunnel but i was on a moped, scary shit let alone doing it at 300kph
