Question: why is the Consultation Model Working Group (CMWG) now working on other issues not in scope with it's terms of reference?

What models of consultation have you actually proposed to the board?

Is working on a new constitution out of scope?

Should foreigners be able to be members?

What consideration is being given to prevent branch stacking by supply side employers?

Snoopy asks why CEO is chair of "independent" panel.

Member says CEO not influencing the group <choke.../>.

All we can see is the optics are bad ;-)

How were the non auDA members approved by the Board? How were they approached?

Isn't the CMWG is working on a new constitution model and therefore considering the definitions of members is therefore in scope.

Who wrote the government report? Did any board member have substantial input?

166 new demand members with Afilias email addresses?

The number of Afilias, Australian based employees - 30 odd?

Will the CMWG recognise the issue of new foreign members voting on the proposed new membership model? Can the CMWG see any problems with a majority foreign membership?

PRK and Peter taking some heat for the board.

No CL if he was an observer you wouldn't but when he is the Chair then the optics are poor.

The Chair is happy that foreigners are able to be members under the constitution.

What a joke!

The Chair is not concerned that stacking of the demand membership with employees of supply side employers may be occuring.

CL accuses J, J and P with accusing the board of criminal behaviour.

Snoopy asks were the new foreign members phoned by auDA as per protocols.

CL says they have stopped ringing new members because of complaints about it. No notice was provided to members that this change had occurred.

They might have found out they were foreigners.

CL closing down questions.

Says they run auDA for the Australian internet community. Um.... and the new 955 odd potentially new foreign members.

VentraIP's Angelo confirms they put a notice on their notice board. Cheyne the VentraIP Chair said they had a company wide meeting where it was discussed.

CL says they wrote to a wide range of entities encouraging new members, who knew?

CL says it's not a breach of the constitution for foreigners.

Is it a concern though? Have you considered that it may be a concern?

You are spending $12 million (marketing initiative) including giving vouchers and rebates back to supply side members who have a majority of demand side members. How are the optics on that?

Does VentraIP get any money back from auDA for marketing initiatives?

Angelo says they have no foreign employees. What about contractors?

CL thanks Lemon for being such a nice chappie and allows multiple questions.

Are auDA going to back date superannuation payments to previous directors?

CL not happy about cartel accusation, not concerned with demand members stacking with supply side employees.

CL does not know the auDA member verification protocol, refers Snoopy to website.

CL claims foreign employees are stake holders just as much as Australians.

Should they be demand class members?

CL is happy for the new potentially 955 supply side employees to be members.

EK says the directors were elected. Only Tim was elected in for the demand side. Three have been appointed by the board, the board that had 1 demand director.
