Carbon Trading needs Cards

If you do a Google search you will realise that a card for trading carbon credits cards is becoming a reality and in the future will be ascommon asyour normal credit card.
$39.95 for CarbonCreditCards.com may be a very wise investment.
Other opinions please.

Thanks, Koomel

Carbon Credits

Carbon credit cards are being promoted as a means of dealing in carbon credits. Carbon credit trading is a reality and any domain name associated with it will prove to be a sound investment.
For $3.00 CarbonCreditCard.com is probably the best investment I will ever make.
Sometimes things are not what they appear!!!

That's $39.90 up in smoke I'd say.

Actually $3.00 for CarbonCreditCards.com should prove to be the best investment I have ever made.
Do a google search on carbon credits and you will realise the potential here.

More comments please.

As far as domain speculation goes your Stage.1 "Denial" - trying to convince everyone the domain is worth something (which is pointless). 4 more stages to "Acceptance"....good luck.

'Carbon credit', 'carbon market', 'carbon offset', 'carbon trading'... these are all terms that are well known and worth investing in.

'Carbon credit card' however, is not a well known term at all - it has less than 100 exact global monthly searches on GAKT (frankly I'm surprised it had that many).

The article you linked to doesn't even use the term, they call it a 'Climate Neutral Credit Card' and a 'Climate Credit Card'.

Joining well known terms together doesn't make a great domain. If that was the case we would all be millionnaires registering domains like pornohirecars.com.

You asked for feedback, yet you're trying to argue against the views being put forward. Some of the people on here earn a respectable income buying and selling domains - it's worth listening to their feedback.

I must explain my posts here.
I tried to answer each reply suggesting this name was applicable to carbon credits as opposed to credit cards. For some reason my reply's were not displayed, I tried replying again with no luck.
I gave up and when I logged on again all of my replies had been displayed. It was my only intention to inform users that this domain relates to carbon credits. I sent an email to admin explaining that my answers would not display, when I eventually seen all of my answers dispayed I tried to delete the duplicated ones them to no avail
If I have offended anyone I apoligise.
I value your opinions and was trying to suggest to users that domains relating to carbon credits may be worth looking at with a view to the future.

Sincerely Koomel

You need to work with your gut feeling and if you feel that way, you sure as hell need to keep the domain. You have asked peoples opinions but keep in mind, these people dont always have the right opinion.

If you are thinking outside of the square, if you feel it has potential.........then you need to keep it:) Its as simple as that. :) Hopefully in time to come we read a thread on this forum where the domain name was sold for a decent price..........

I have played with the "green" "carbon credit" thing

Heaps of enthusiasm, but that is where it seems to stop

PS.......the academics seem to be devoid of commercial realities

Fair enough. I don't think you would have offended anyone, so I wouldn't worry.

This is true, to an extent. If you take a couple of longshots on future trends that's fine, but if you fill a portfolio with these sorts of domains then you might be in trouble.

I wouldn't recommend that anyone buy a lot of these highly speculative domains. Nearly all of them become worthless, that's the reality and it can cost people a lot of money if they invest heavily in these.

I admit I have a handful of future trend type domains myself, but it's a tiny portion of my portfolio.
