i haven't done AMA yet but have been watching and trying to learn, i suppose i'm asking a lot but some hints would be good as to these things:

how many days? 14, 28, 56 ?

reserve or no reserve?

-------------

even with the improvements NF have made it still seems a "non event" for most people.

my present view is to just find the end user and ring them, any thoughts or links to past threads appreciated.

Gee Tim...there is a thing called Google you know....:D:D::p (Now, now..just having a dig :) )

I too would be interested to know what some of the more successful sales techniques/formats have been from some of the members and NF.

I did read somewhere though that if you do put a reserve on it then the 8% of the reserve price will be deducted from your account to NF if your sale doesnt reach the reserve (which if it does reach and exceed reserve that is the ussual deduction from the sale) so reserve auctions arent free to list if they dont sell..........I could be wrong and have it mixed up with another company (I have been googling a lot lately).

Cheers, look forward to the info.

For buyers or sellers?

For seller it is almost always going to be a non event for the obvious reason that most of the names listed are worthless.

Reserves are always going to be a problem as well. It is never going to be like the drops in my view (in terms of efficiency,prices). Though of course for the drops it is just the cream of the crops getting any bid at all anyway.
