Affiliate Marketing

Hi,

I understand the process and income options etc for affiliate marketing, but what about website design for the page. Do you need to spend a lot of money on the website itself or should it be a simple minisite? Do you need to spend money on PPC advertising etc or does this depend on what you are selling?

Got quite a few domains that would lend themselves to affiliate programs but don't really want to spend a fortune getting the sites up and running...any advice at all from anyone with experience in this field?

Depends what you are selling,

For example if it weight loss you might have a clean design and alot of video, same with 6 pack work out, you need to seem genuine.

For affiliate software you need a lot of product reviews.

For finance you need to have alot of quality design, good information ect.

But for each niche things change a long landing page can some times work, and other times it may not. An ugly page may work and other times it may not.

Affiliate market is a lot about testing over and over too see what works.

Can be a simple as installing wordpress and adding content, theme, plugins etc or you can go down the custom path.

My advice would be to just give it ago, best way to learn. Try and choose a niche you have some kind of interest in.. that will make it a bit easier.
