Probably, and probably because of the super battle between the big SM platforms / Facebook/Instagram/Twitter - I believe twitter are furious with Facebook as they (FB) got an update also yesterday with photo filters & multi-shot sharing, something which twitter have been working on.

So Instagram has been listening to their customers with some things which we want in the service and they updated their user profiles to now have the following... Via the web browser: New look user profile able to follow people able to comment able to LIKE able to edit your profile page...

Facebook got in before Twitter did today and updated their iOS app with a few new features such as Multi-shot sharing of photos, new photo filters, chat features, giving gifts (for US customers only) etc. Either download the app via iTunes or if you have the up on your iOS, then just update it.
