    JUST .nz

Presumably they'll be classed as new registrations.

    JUST .nz

Yep. Two of the domains generate sufficient revenue to ensure the increased holding cost is insignificant. Also, I'm not a speculative domainer who relies on low reg fees. If reg fees tripled I'd still hold onto the vast majority of my domains. I'd rather not pay extra of course, but I think...

    x.uk for $18m...

I wonder if the owners of f.co.uk will be switching to the shortened domain...? ;)

    JUST .nz

I own about a dozen NZ domains (two of which generate decent NZ revenue) and I haven't heard about it either. Pretty poor communication! But having done a bit of reading today I'm looking forward to the change. All but one of mine are 'PRR' meaning that I'll have rights to the name. One is...

    x.uk for $18m...

Always interesting when there's a crossover between my industry (insurance) and domaining... http://www.insurancebusinessonline.com.au/news/far-out-friday-insurance-broker-sells-worlds-shortest-website-address-for-18m-189881.aspx

    Google+ Author photos dropped

My search results still include my name and a link to my G+ profile. I wonder if that will stay or eventually disappear too...?

    Google+ Author photos dropped

The upside is that I no longer need a wanky looking photo for my G+ profile! :-)

    Google+ Author photos dropped

Agreed, but it was driving more people to create G+ profiles and actually use the platform. Surely this change will make people even less interested in G+...?

    Google+ Author photos dropped

Seems like a stupid change. I was using it with a few of my sites. No idea if it really helped CTRs, but it couldn't have hurt. Maybe too many people were abusing it?

Seo Query - Creating a New Zealand website any advice?

I've gone through more or less the same thing with a few of my sites. I simply register the co.nz domain and copy the site across. The sites are hosted on different servers, but they're still Australian servers. The only changes I make to the sites is to replace any references to 'Australia'...

    .co sales

Nice results Pacifier! I picked up three insurance .co EMDs on the first day of release. They're all on Sedo, but no bites yet. These domains would be easy $xx,xxx if com.au. I guess .co is just the wrong extension for them.

    Job - quick website migration

Massive thanks to Nick for getting the migration done on Friday night. I'm very happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone. :) Shane.

    Job - quick website migration

Thanks nt81 and the guys who PM'ed me. The vendor is dicking me around with the login details. He says the hosting is through 'Plesk' and he can't give me the login details without giving me access to all of his other websites. Is this right? Can't he just give me the individual login...

I've just bought an established website and need to transfer it from the current server over to my shared server. The site is coded in PHP. Does anyone want to take a quick cash job? PM me! :)

Zuckerberg's sister recommends domains for babies

Revisiting this thread... I received a few emails last month stating that the .com was coming up for auction and asking me for a bid. I ignored them, and then this week I received an email stating that the name was available for $19. Went to GoDaddy and checked the domain, registered it for...

    Netregistry customer service

Has anyone had to deal with NetRegistry lately? I'm trying to complete a COR for a portfolio I've acquired and not only are the CORs not being processed, but NetRegistry have failed to respond to multiple support requests from both myself and the vendor. Shocking service. Something to do with...

    facebooooooooooooooook

I don't know what the solution is, but I do think it's wrong for Netfleet to continue to take bids on domains such as this one and utube etc. Surely something can be done?
