best way to sell portfolio

Hi Guys,

I've been sitting on a portfolio of 30-40 generic au (+ a couple of .nz domains) in the insurance, finance, general interest, home services / improvement and health space for a few years and am thinking of moving them on.

Aside from doing the leg work and selling a bunch of waiting for them to receive decent offers (which I seem to get maybe 2-5 a year) what is the best place or way to sell the lot, or at least a bunch of them. Are there domainers that'll buy the lot. Understand that a bulk price won't be as strong as selling individually.

List on Netfleet, google search corresponding matches (aka leg work) and approach. Other than that it is most likely your names may not be as liquid as you think? Some folk even list on ebay or perhaps list them here to see if there's any interest. Be prepared to drop names that get no attention. Good luck

Probably the best thing you can do is list them on forums. But if they have been registered in recent years the chance of the portfolio selling is very low unless there is proven revenue or they were previously sought after drops.

Saw the list, I don't see much potential. Needs some type of firesafe to try and get whatever you can. Price them very low (individually) and hope for the best.

All good advice here. The feedback I've had from those looking for domains to buy for client projects is that are far more interested in those listed with Buy It Now prices, rather than Make Offer. They know where they stand and they know the process will be quicker which is important.

As an additional suggestion for those that have really good names, you can also contact someone that has experience as a broker. Keep in mind they have to be very good names.
