It would have been good to catch up & talk things auDA, was there much of it discussed yesterday?
There sure was.
Would have been good to get Tim's views about it all too!

Tim is planning a complete overhaul of auDA, starting with what he believes is the much needed rebranding of the .au space.

His goal is to replace the myriad of current extensions, .com.au, .net.au, .org.au, .id.au, .asn.au, .edu.au, .gov.au, .csiro.au, .nsw.au, .vic.au, .tas.au, .sa.au, .nt.au, .act.au, .qld.au, .wa.au, .horse.au, .theyhaventgotaclue.au (at this stage we tried to suggest that the latter two are not actual extensions, however, he was on a roll and there was no stopping him) with one powerful, overarching extension that will unite the entire country and send a defiant message to the world that Australia means business (.au we suggested, but no, apparently that's off the table) ... drumroll, wait for it — .tim.au

And if you're excited about the forthcoming launch of AUHQ, you can forget it. That's out the window and will be replaced by TIMHQ.

For full details of Tim's plans, head over to what will become the future hub of all things domains down under, tim.tim.au
:D:p:cool:

I have obtained video footage from the venue and it clearly shows Tim handing money over to Scott7... Buying votes? I'll let you decide but the evidence is damming! ....... (especially if taken out of context)

Yes, I was handed cash by Tim during the evening. I'm not convinced that all of it was legal tender, as I don't recall Tim's face featuring on any Australian currency before. Maybe he's released a physical version of his own cryptocurrency, Timcoin. It wouldn't surprise me, considering all the grandiose plans he's got for auDA.

He could even be planning to become the future resident of Kirribilli House. After all, he wouldn't be the first person to use his board member position as a springboard into politics. Today auDA, tomorrow the world.

Please be aware that TimCoin.Com has been registered since 2014 and is under privacy ...it would appear he has been planning this "coup" for some time now ...... I've said it before and i'll say it again .. "get me auda here!"

Good to see you mingling with your constituents, Tim. :D

I must admit that when the question was asked about whether the CEO had the support of the board, I half expected you to stand up and give one of your finest Mel Gibson Braveheart speech impersonations. ;)

Surely you can outsource the reading of auDA board documents for one night. Mind you, this may involve upping the reader's pay for taking on such an important task. :D

I think auDA need to relax & tell their 'representatives' to be transparent & more open. Anyway, that what we will be talking about at the round table next meet up.. whenever that is in 2017!!!
