If you look at the change from last year it is only 1.5% growth for the year.

Then again this could well be stronger than .com.au if UBU's are taken out of the equation. And a lot better than new tlds which may well see a decline of 30% this year.

We are certainly in a period of lower demand for new registrations.

Basically I am thinking of all the numerics that were dropped over the last 12 - 18 months, I would have expected a big dip. However the .com seems to have stayed strong imo

I wonder what kind of numbers were dropped?

The extension will probably see some growth also with the new tlds falling over. Drop auction prices seem to be way up in the last 12 months for non Chinese stuff.
