DomainSherpa Farewell!

Michael Cyger has retired his online Domain Sherpa domain name show, after 404 shows.
It was an honour to get a chance to appear on his show and meet him in person at NamesCon earlier this year. He is genuinely one of the nicest and smartest guys I've met in the domain name industry.
Between Domain Sherpa shows and our own Ned O'Meara, I've been taught everything I need to know about the domain name industry. Not only our own Australian industry and market place, but also how things work internationally.
I write this post for any newcomers thinking about getting into domain names. Now is a great time to get into domaining, especially with the excitement of Direct .AU Registrations coming into being.
Here are two awesome places to start you off in the right direction:
DomainSherpa.com
Domainer.com.au
I can't wait to see what Michael does next?!

Real shame that. I've been listening to Michael's interviews for years.

I must say though, the quality has been lower over the last year or so. It's full of portfolio reviews rather than the in depth interviews he was known for. Maybe some people preferred that direction? Either way it's still a shame to see him go.

I think the Dicker incident really killed it off, i.e. losing Schwartz and Berkins because of it. I think he made the correct move pulling the videos though.

I think Michael did a great job, I enjoyed the interviews and the domain reviews a lot.

can i just make a point here , this type of comment is in my opinion not acceptable, robert, i like you but you continue to do this and i have corrected you before.
everyone must not state something as a certainty until auda has stated it, i'm not going to bother with what has already been said in the past as you all should know. or do we have to hear it all again?

likewise it would be unexceptionable for anyone to state that direct reg is dead and will never go ahead.

robert, with all due respect you are not in a position to make those kind of comments.

It was more the review shows that I liked, not all the interviews were that good but it was a one off and different for sure.
