are still great just doesn't run on new windows, forced redundancy really.
i remember when i went to wn7 i had to buy a new printer ! not that i print much but really !!!!
the kids have an old vista each which is fine for them, i use win 7, helena uses win 8 and now win10 seems to have few bugs i'll go get a win 10 laptop soon EOFY

MalwareTech said sinkholing would only stop the spread until hackers removed the domain check and tried again. He said it was "incredibly important that any unpatched systems are patched as quickly as possible".

"You're only safe if you patch ASAP," he warned.
The government has warned that the outbreak could pop up in Australia, and if we go back to the monitoring site https://intel.malwaretech.com/WannaCrypt.html its dead quiet. Which leads me to believe they have already patched and changed their code. Because the replication was pinging that domain from places like Tasmania.

and then you'd step away and wait for people to see it and wonder how long it would run before the staff would stop it............if they new how ! LOLLLLLL
