With the right letters they can be. There are still plenty available for hand registration and they drop on a regular basis. The more businesses with names that could match the acronym the greater the chance of a sale.

great post scott and great links, its these sorts of posts that need to go into a "bank" for newbies, i've said this before that there needs to be a set of questions and responses that NAIL it for newbies, its a great resource and things like this do not change.

You need to consider what acronym they can make, z is a tough one!! (let alone two) However if they were in .com you may plenty of Chinese folk spamming you for a sale? Good luck
