auDA Membership Survey 2016

Some members have just received an email survey from auDA. See below:

The Chief Executive Officer of auDA, Cameron Boardman, announced at the recent auIGF that he is positioning auDA to be more proactive and consultative with its membership base and other stakeholders. As announced in the member newsletter of the 20th of October, I have been tasked to conduct an extensive membership consultation exercise, and accordingly I would like to take some of your time to seek feedback on auDA current members' services.

Question/Comments
1. How long have you been a member of auDA and what motivated you to join?
2. How would you describe your level of satisfaction with the operations and services to members provided by auDA?
3. Are there areas where auDA needs to improve upon regarding its member services?
4. Do you have any comments regarding auDA's current policy settings?
5. The Board has resolved to examine a process to implement direct registrations for .au. Do you have any comments in this regard – are you supportive/against? Are there any specific policy or operational reforms you would like to see?
6. Are there any other comments you would like to make?

why wouldn't it be that we are all on the mailing list and "send to all" ?
the only thing is some ticked not to receive emails from auda, but i'm not on that list !
i was told before if you show up on their website as a member then you are on the mailing list, if not...you are not

my understanding is that there are a mix of meetings, emails and phone calls, so not everyone will get emails. I have spoken to a few members who had phone calls and others who got emails

The cost of email must have gone up if they can't email 100 members.

Perhaps they should dig into that $10 million dollar bank account.

Perhaps they already know the answers and don't want the evidence?
