Why was this domain available to hand reg?

Television Guide is still available for hand reg in most TLDs and ccTLDs, whereas the abbreviation, TV Guide is taken.

No I'm asking why televisionguide.com.au was available for reg if its highly searched?

It dropped on 05/07/2016. I saw it in the list and didn't think it was worth min bid. People say "TV guide" not "television guide".
Google Keyword Planner will sometimes allocate the same search figures for very similar terms. For example, terms with and without hyphens; and as in this case - popular abbreviations and their respective words (e.g. 'TV' and 'television').

I figured out keyword tool matches similar terms, so when I search for the volume for Television Guide it's actually showing a combination of TV Guide and Television Guide. So it's just a mix up. Going to just develop it now hah

Would just put it down to a learning experience and let it drop. Developing the mistakes isn't a good idea.
