Hi Everyone,

You may have noticed that DNTrade now has a brand new 'Tools’ menu. These tools have been developed by us DNTrade for members to use and enjoy.

Here's a quick overview of how they can help:

Expired Domain Search - https://www.dntrade.com.au/expired-domain-search.php
This tool provides an easy way to search all the dropped domains (since the start of 2013) and see which names are available and taken. Simply type in a word to see what names have dropped that you might be able to snap up with a simple hand registration.

Domain Availability Checker - https://www.dntrade.com.au/domain-availability-checker.php
This tool runs a quick availability check to see if the domain name you want is available for registration in the .com.au, .net.au or .org.au extensions.

Dropping Domain Metrics - https://www.dntrade.com.au/dropping-domain-metrics.php
We've made some revisions to this tool that we launched last year to make it even easier to quickly search and sort through the daily .au drops and find names that might be of interest thanks to data from Estibot and Moz along with our DNTrade Rank

Have a play with these tools and let us know what you think. If you have any feedback, find any bugs or have any suggestions for future features please let us know below.

Cheers,
Peter Mead

feedback: the domain checker is not working for me, tried a 3 character and I got bored waiting, tried "hghghghghghg" and it timed out with no result.

expired domains and metrics are pretty cool, thanks

Thanks Tim, we cannot replicate your issue as the Domain Availability Checker is working as desired on all browsers and platforms we have checked.

It would help us get to the bottom of the problem if you could let us know the Browser and Version and OS that you are using.

Then we may be able to replicate the issue.

Looks like a bug has crept into the pages preventing them from working on some Internet Explorer versions.

Will work out what the issue is and fix ASAP.

Thanks.

it was IE 11 on a win7

but I have a vast array of versions here if you want me to check anything, but now I'm about to light the BBQ :D and crack a cold crowny

Yes there are still a couple of ok names in with the trash. :)

There is a known issue with Internet Explorer for the Domain Availability Checker tool. Basically Ajax related. It is on the work schedule to be fixed. Will notify when completed.

Don't go and hand reg too many names with the Expired Domain Search tool, at least leave some for us...

Loving the new tools!

Because i love to buy domains for their link profiles, is there any plans to put link authority metrics in the "Expired .au Domain Search"?

Additional to this, will there be options to search by additional parameters? A lot of quality domains used to be company's brands, so keyword searches aren't the best way to find these gems

Again, great work! It definitely alleviates a lot of the stuff i used to have to do manually

Thanks for the feedback Michael, it is good encouragement and we love to hear it, particularly Atom who put a lot of dev work into it.

As you can tell it is a first cut, and there are more features on the drawing board. But has been generating a lot of interest already.

We are glad that DNTrade users are finding the tools useful and will take on-board your suggestions for sure.

Cheers for now.

I really like the new tools, nice work.

I've used the expired domain search a few times now and have found some good domains in my niches.

I grabbed 'eBranding' (.com.au) today, which had expired late last year. I was pretty surprised it hadn't been snapped up... I guess I'm the only one that likes it! :p

Thanks Demonoid :)

I've got a few too, even though I have alerts on Netfleet and Drop I missed a few.

Guys, I'm loving this tool, huge opportunities for expired domains in the .com.au space, same question as mjonezy

like only search Available domains or Download List

Yes, we plan on improving the tools, thanks for the feedback - let us know if there's anything else you'd like to see!

Cheers,
Chris
