Google Algo Update today - New Panda?

Many SEO's in the Australian market are noticing changes across verticals.

Ranks are going crazy for many.

Could be a new Panda update.

Are you seeing a big update today?

I haven't noticed any major changes today, just the usual daily shuffle that seems to have been happening for most of the second half of this year.

I'll hold tight and see how we go...!

yep, i've had 2 biggies go off first page and another drop to 10th :( there is no logical reason for these ones to be attacked by panda as they are all been around for a while and the content changes constantly.

but mostly nothing has changed so i'm not going to "knee jerk" on it.

on further investigation i don't think its google, there are 2 new websites in the regular bunch so i think that may have joggled things around.

I think their is a decent change happening today, was talking to a mate who tracks 1000's of commercial terms in the AU space, he said he has seen some decent moves over the last 24 hours.

I will investigate further.

I had a site that got hit in the last couple of updates start getting a 30-40% s/e traffic increase since Monday. Thought it might have been related to an update, but you are saying it just started today?

i've got sites bouncing around right now, i'm back to page 2 number 1 :( so i am so close, but another site has entered the 1st page otherwise i would be back in there.

this is for the homepage, the sub pages haven't moved eg: domain.com.au/blabla..... & domain.com.au/blabla/yadda.php

and they rank on keyword based search, many are longtail.

so thats really weird.

its not an EMD domain by the way.

i don't need this s**T before xmas !

Yep; something is still happening.

Yesterday I had a site in the UK space jump quite nicely - today its back to where it was... similar circumstances with some sites in the US & AU space too.

I think stand firm and continue with quality content on a regular basis, if you own a large number of sites you will never be able to appease the god named ....google

oh crap.. updates always make me nervous.

Although, Matt Cutts hasn't mentioned anything on his twitter account, and he usually does when they do a refresh.

Uhmm... when should you ever really listen to Matt Cutts? And FTR, MC doesn't always make tweets and/or posts about updates.

i'm now back to first page but LAST organic, thank god i'm back at least, for my most important site.

funnily i haven't seen very much loss of visits over those few days.

all i did is create some fresh content on my homepage, i've been BUSY and slack so fresh content is the go as always.

Anyone else still seeing a shake up in their SERPs?

Sites I manage in the US/UK seem to have settled; but I'm still seeing a lot of movement in the AU space.

Still no major changes for me. One site had a nice jump, but it's still not back to its pre-August position.

I've got about 6 main sites.. all have been pretty static.
Maybe it's a particular method of backlinking that they're targetting?
