Can You Complete A COR On An Expired Domain

We are not renewing the domains.
Yes a COR costs $18.43.

Ok. It's probably just my misunderstanding. I thought a COR included a renewal of sorts to make the expiry 2 years from the change? So that's just included in the COR cost then?

A Change of Registrant is a new domain license, and it comes with a new 2 year registration period which has nothing to do with the old one.

You can renew a domain seconds before a Change of Registrant and all you are doing is wasting money as the renewal adds time to the old license which is thrown away...

Mick / Ventra, is it still not possible through you?

It is now possible just not via VIPControl.

Ausreg responded to us Friday afternoon saying it is possible to perform a COR on an expired domain, but you can't update anything else, like contacts, etc.

If you submit a ticket to us and attention it to my I'll arrange for it to be manually started for you. :)

I'd just like to say thanks to VentraIP for following this up quickly. Glad to say the registrant details have now been updated :)
