Hi all, I think we can all agree that the DNT community is something special and what Ned has done is nothing short of amazing. So firstly, on behalf of everyone, I'd like to thank Ned for all the hard work he's put into DNT and for now trusting me to look after it. They are definitely big shoes to fill but I love a challenge

I'm confident that together as a community we can continue to grow DNT and ensure it remains the place to go for everyone with and interest in the .au domain space. If any of you have thoughts or feedback you'd like to share, I'm always happy to hear them.

I have a strong passion for the web and the local tech community. What has always attracted me to DNT is the wealth of local experience and knowledge everyone openly shares. I've met lots of great people here and I hope to meet many more of you over time.

I had the opportunity last night to catch up with Chris in Melbourne. FirstPageResults was given a leave pass from his new wife, and he came along too.

We had a lovely dinner (thanks Chris!) - and had a great chat about DNT and the future.

Chris has got some wonderful ideas to build the community in all sorts of ways. I came away feeling very excited for DNT - I think there are some great times ahead.

I'm going to step away from posting so much now - and you'll see Chris putting his own stamp on things from here.

If I could ask just one thing of you guys please. It would be such a great help if you could encourage friends or colleagues (who are involved in the .au space in whatever capacity)
