I haven't actually purchased a .com.au on the aftermarket before. I realise that the cost of transfers depends on the registrar as it does with .com, etc. However is there not a change of ownership fee also? I've been looking at the AU registry site but can't find how much this is? Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I haven't been able to find it.

Transfer of ownership fee varies from registrar to registrar... there was a table here:

transfer are free at all registrars... transfer of ownership is different and includes 2 years reg

Hmm, transfer is on top of the $30 I guess hey, its registered with www.registerfree.com.au
On another subject, I once registered ninmsn.com.au later someone complained and they simply took the domain off me. No refunds or anything is this acceptable ?
