i know george on a personal level and he has always only helped me , i too received the $10 promo code , but it had not been sent by him .... so possibly some confusion by some one at admin for domain8, all i can say is george is a decent person and you should perhaps give him the benefit of the doubt (and $10) ..... just joking !

Maybe.. means we are still waiting for the free promo code offered. Been a while now though.

Hi Guys, I think there has been some confusion and I will be happy to sort it out on a case by case basis.
Our company is a new start-up and I don't have much extra time at the moment to monitor this forum as well as other similar forums, consequently PIMs may not get responses.
All that aside, the original free promo-code offer was sent as a 'respond immediately' kind of deal. I had never intended to make our service free for all and for ever more.
After a quick email exchange with Soj, he kindly offered to email the dntrade member base information about our unique service and I offered to present the $10 promo-code as a member benefit. Importantly though, the dntrade promo code that was distributed is set to expire at the end of this month (July). Most of our clients (excluding dntrade members), have paid the $250 joining fee - so at $10 I feel our offer represents incredible value.
Nevertheless, if anyone feels aggrieved by the $10 promo-code please contact us directly support@domain8.com.au, and we will do our best to correct the situation.

There's no confusion, people are annoyed that you used the forum to promote a free offer to DNTrade members, then you renegged.
Personally, I don't care if you charge $10 or $1000 but please don't post an offer on the forum then ignore, replies and reneg on your offer. It's a waste of my time and makes you look like an idiot.
Let's be honest, you posted the free promo offer at 1:08pm on 7/3/2009, I replied accepting the offer at 2:10pm on 7/3/2009. That's pretty damn quick!
Rather than write a weak response citing 'confusion' and offering to reinstate your offer to anyone that 'feels aggrieved', just admit that you stuffed up, make good on your offer and say sorry.
You look to have a great product and it's a shame that you've introduced it to such an influencial group in this manner. If you're open and honest, I think you'll find we're a pretty forgiving bunch. I've been one of your most vocal critics on here but even I've paid the $10 fee to join tonight.

I will be honest with you and admit I don't normally spend any time on forums. Consequently the protocols and expectations are somewhat foreign to me. Although you responded, I expected the expressions of interest would come directly to our site and not by way of a response to a post on a forum.
I have browsed forums on occasion but never truly participated or engaged in conversations. So please accept my apology for the mixed messages.
