Hi Roddy... my contact details are on the domain8.com.au site. The domains are registrar agnostic - i.e. across all registrars. Go Tiges! ;)

Do you have any info on the PD listed ones.

I'm assuming if it was a policy delete you'd be at risk of losing it for the same reason.

Domains are policy deleted for many reasons, and one common example is when a company that is listed as the Registrant (Legal Entity/Owner) ceases trading.

In the case where the legal entity no longer exists and therefore cannot hold the domain license, I would suggest that the likelihood of losing the domain is low.

Caveat: Unless there are other issues surrounding the domain or more importantly you do something stupid with the domain. Stupid actions include things like post if for sale within the first 6-months or place unrelated advertising links on the parked domain.

If you want to read more about au policy and Policy delete, go to:

Just received an email about this. The FREE promo-code now costs $10.

If you think about it this way, the less people that are willing to pay the $10, or $250 for that matter, then the less people I will have to bid against me. Cheaper domains for me and the other people that have paid the measely $10.

What a joke..

Good luck with it Soj. It's not about the $10.

I totally agree.

I PM'd within an hour of the offer but never heard a thing.

Now the free offer costs money? What a joke.

And even more a joke that the admin here thinks it's ok.

Anyone who wants to use the service on a professional level would pay the $250 anyway, (which the CEO offering the deal knew) but cmon, don't offer something you are not preparred to deliver.

And as admin around here, don't sit back and let this slide because it suits you.
