Standard Listings Page - Updated

Hi Guys

Just a quick note to say we have made some subtle, yet big, changes to our standard listings page.

First off, we have added the ability to Facebook Like or Google +1 your own listings, or anybody else's for that matter. A great way to get more exposure for your listings.

Secondly, and the larger change, is we are beginning to show metrics on each page, namely showing PageRank, Inbound Links, Search Phrase (the domain name split by word), CPC and the local exact search volume.

The system is in the process of churning through all of the domains - this will take a little while. Once a domain has been processed, the data will be displayed. If there are no rows indicating this data, the domain has yet to be processed.

Thanks
Mark

Good work!

And one day, can we hope to have an advance search feature where we can search by Local search volume or PR for example?

Great improvements.

PR is wrong for every domain I just checked. Do these need to be updated?
Also, where is the back links data coming from, is it Google or Yahoo or some other?

Thanks for all the feedback guys

In addition to what Anthony said, yes we will also have search functionality on each metric.

Great improvements.

Can you let me know an example where PR is incorrect? Had a bit of trouble with PR of late so need to look in to it...

IBL data comes from Yahoo as it is one of the most comprehensive automated ways to check links. Once we have retrieved the links, we only attribute one link per domain. In other words, if one site linked 500 times, that would be 1 IBL, not 500. It's the same method we use for our Snapper Auctions.

This.

It's showing PR 0 to me when viewing the site.

I think this must be cached by your local browser. I think it is cntrl-F5 to reload your page and clear your cache on Windows. (I use a mac now so I am trying to remember how I did it 8 years ago)

Thanks. My cache is cleared regularly. I was just trying to help.

Are you seeing a parked page? I'm not surprised it's zero, if in fact it is.

No big deal anyway.

Sorry I misunderstood you initially. I thought you where seeing PR 0 when visiting netfleet.com.au, but actually you are seeing PR3 on netfleet but you think the PR is 0 using some tool you use to determine Page Rank.

We got the page rank of 3 when we checked the data which was on the 18th August 2011. I think the best solution is for us is to add the date on which the data was collected so users can decide if they think the data is recent enough of if they want to re-check it.

I agree with you that the page rank is 0 right now for this site, which is a parked site.
