I tend to think this sale is based on potential and traffic levels rather than financials. Looking at the site it has probably had more than $8700 spent on it since 2007 (in terms of money and/or time by the owner).

Good article, but what is with that guy Craig Reardon making a comment like that?

As Ive commented here before, the notion of valuing websites is nothing but codswallop. Without the underlying business and management and related skills, a website is worthless. And the notion of 'flipping' websites nothing but a con to try to attribute value to what is essentially a bunch of meaningless and already outdated code. The sooner the ACCC get onto this scam the better off we all will be.

hah yeah, his website is powered by eknowhow yet he is claiming to be an ebusiness expert.. clearly out of touch with the industry.
