Suggestions for voucher

Please post your suggestions for Voucher below.

Timmy.. a couple of things from me

1. The current change city selection has to go. It's a little buggy and disappears on me sometimes. Other times it stays up when i want it to go away. If it only expanded/closed on click that would be better imo.

2. Link up the recent deal button or remove it for now

3. Link up the facebook and twitter icons in the footer or remove them. Not a huge deal as you have it working elsewhere on the site.

4. Apply some padding to the links at the very bottom "Brisbane Daily Deals" etc, they're running a tad close to the yellow bar. Not a huge deal but might as well fix up while your in there.

5. Fix up the newsletter signup button in firefox; screenshot attached

6. Voucher.com.au for your business; change this from a mailto link to a page with a bit of info to really sell your service

7. The html is a bit of a mess, but not a huge prob either. It does the job for now but consider getting it cleaned up and so that it validated.

I hope you don't mind the thread. I really want to see the site succeed mate

Is there any reason why these link at the bottom are fulid, looks dodgy.

Colours up the top are odd, going with orange (email button) green (login text) red (city selection) and yellow seems off and unappealing.

Text in pages like http://www.voucher.com.au/gold-coast-daily-deals/ look messy.

Well, i was going to PM my suggestions to you mate but I thought if i made it public you might get onto it sooner and feel better after wards.

Thanks for the heads-up, believe it or not these things are all on the todo list and have been for some time. Bloody Chris prioritises the birth of his kid above me which is bloody disgusting really Feedback is always welcomed, but we've had to be more concerned on getting the functionality and billing sorted although I do know that these changes would make us look more trustworthy and they're being done this week.

I agree with what you're saying though. They're all little things that probably only bother some people and not others.

Who designed the GUI? I think it looks great.
