Bank Talk is something I put together reasonably quickly.

Things we do when we have bright idea's right?

I need to add more categories for the questions. The news is fed into the news category via automatic RSS posting.

Facebook Connect is available for any user that prefers that for login.

I plan to add some articles on banking and finance over time, calculators etc etc.. I guess it's a minisite on roids.

Feedback welcome & encouraged.

when i looked yesterday i did click on the news link expecting a whole bunch of news stories, however at that time there was nothing which would probably lead to no return visits , i understand the gist of the idea but i think you need a section which supplies news updates from Reuters , Australian newspapers ...etc

site looked fine but until more content may struggle a bit until the idea kicks off

It's already there. Nice and subtle though.

In time this is the goal. I understand at the moment it's light on content, but hopefully in time the content will grown and generate some sort of discussion, and return traffic.

i am sure there would be many opinions about that dude from the wiggles losing $50 million dollars and having to sell his $7 million dollar home ........poor thing

I guess the secret is getting the discussion to your site , maybe some topical article writing to get each subject , maybe add a what's hot type section where you write an article to get things going ?

Site design is pretty nice as Luke said, but guys please; I wish more sites had colour, im over neutral.

I think the others have hit it on the head - nice clean design but a bit monochromatic. It's always tough getting a community site going so you may want to make several accounts and add questions through them so that they all do not show up as asked by one person.

As far as SEO, make sure you put a good Title tag... right now it just shows "banktalk.com.au |" instead of incorporating the site's name and keyword(s). I'd go with something like "Answers to your banking questions | Bank Talk". Also, you should add in a Meta Description as that will probably be the text that shows up in the search engines under your listing.

Good luck with the site... I'm sure the niche will monetize well for you.
