I see you work at NAB... and you have websites that promote non-NAB products.

I'd be very careful, because when I still worked at the bank we sacked someone for doing the exact same thing. He was sacked due to non-disclosure of a conflict of interest.

You still don't get it do you spacey? You can't just ask for Likes and expect people to do so. You need to give them a pretty good reason. The fact you still only have 10 is pretty good indication of that.

Thanks for the heads up but my names don't promote anything yet ;)

You sure?

The guy sacked was even less guilty. He had simply registered a finance related domain with Godaddy and left it on the standard parking page. The standard Godaddy parking page shows Google ads, and when the bank looked at the site it came up with an ad for a rival bank.

Although he was able to prove that he didn't even receive any benefit from the Google ads placed by Godaddy, it was still an undisclosed conflict of interest and the bank's HR policy gave termination as the only option.

And before you say the bank was just looking for an excuse, this guy was a top performer and was on the management program.

How do I know so much or care so much about this? Because the person I'm talking about is me...

I'd hate to see someone else go through the same thing. Just be careful...
