I think it's a great idea. Some members have "Last Modified" attached to every post it may as well be in there sig.

It makes you wonder what they said they wanted to retract.

I am looking at a new plugin for vBulletin which logs all edits, as previously I couldn't see anything that was posted before being edited. It should come back shortly.

what's up with some of the members being verified while others are not ?

Those that are verified are people I know to a degree that they are friends on Facebook, LinkedIn, or I have spoken to them in person or on the phone. Any current members on this forum can either add me to Facebook or LinkedIn (Michael Sojevic) to become Verified Members.Test

I don't use it either so he's not the only one; I have an account but a blank profile.

From a marketing perspective I think Facebook is awesome but I don't see any reason to give them personal information and/or develop a history with the site.

Do you really want to create a time line of where you've been, what you like, who you are friends with and in a relationship with, share photos, personal interests, how you're feeling over an ever growing period of time and so on? I don't.

On a side note, I think it's ironic that people give Facebook all this information (who then give it to advertisers) and then bitch about their privacy. You see it every day on "news" sites like NEWS.com.au and SMH.com.au. Every second day they do a beat up about a privacy breach yet all thees people are handing it over for free.

Anyway.. that's my little tirade on Facebook.

There are already too many payattentionahr's on FB anyway :)
I am not sure you have to tell FB all that stuff.
FB is very good for me, obviously not for everyone
Thanks for sharing the reasons you don't like social media
I mainly use it because I can connect with people who share my interest in domain names, and increase my income and knowledge. And it is fun.

I think Coreyg is woman not a "he"
