I've already discarded the TV (no TV in 2011 except over the net).

Oh, and make lots of money domaining :)

Happy new year!

Yeah, I don't have a TV either. Earlier in the year, I sold my TV, gaming consoles and binned a bunch of other stuff I just don't use (microwave etc) and don't need (old clothes, old computer parts etc). Trying to live a semi minimalist lifestyle.

Make it to Next New Year

Why?

Why not? There's nothing on TV anyway except shitty shows and the few shows I do watch are easily downloaded. News on TV becomes old news when I get it as it happens through my twitter feed. No need to own gaming consoles when SEO is the best online game there is (although I have a PC for WoW & SC2).

No wife, no kids either. That alone makes life much simpler and I bet many people wish they could get rid of those 2 things :p

Make it to Next year as I often felt I would not make it to this one!

Anyway.. goals for 2011.

1) Bring Adsense earnings up to $1500-$2000 a month range.
2) Fill out some sites with around 500 pages of content targeting every single longtail to maximise Adsense earnings.
3) Start work on a BIG site (and shut Shaun up about it in the process!)

Plan for 5 years down the road rather than 5 minutes. No more shit names, just good quality with development potential. Churn and burn, it's the year of the big-flip in the .au space.

2011 is about efficiency for me, no more registering pretty names, concentrate all funds and time on one thing at a time and smash the shit out of it.

Distractions can bite me :)

Have a good one all, I'm in NZ ripping up the sights and smells at the moment in Rotorua. Next year holds big things, work life balance creeping its way into the mix.

Cheers, T.

Don't know whether I feel honoured or not being mentioned in your 2011 NY's resolutions but if you do shut me up I'll be impressed and you'll be rolling in it!

1. Make a huge site, sell a bunch of smaller sites.
2. Start Training hard at the gym aggain/ Already starting personal trainging in 2011..
3. Rely less on Google adsense/CPM companies, look for more private advertisers.
