Interesting one, I'm not sure it is as red hot the names where people are looking for a loan calculator, still pretty big term. The bids look to be only around 70 cents, compared to $7 for terms like home loan calculator.

a general google search lists it as a keyword term for all the banks / finance companies etc

Good investment now I understand that space a bit more and did some research on these calculator names values and ROI's

Definitely home loans is going to be the money angle, but I think some people (perhaps most people) will already have their loan sorted when they are looking for a stamp duty calculator, plus the loan mindset isn't as clear as looking for a loan calculator. I think that is why the bids are significantly less.

I agree, but like you said, for what it lacks in high profit margins in makes up for in volume.

Also it's worth noting that this domain is already ranking 3rd in Google for its primary term, which is definitely a positive given that this term does have a reasonable amount of competition for it.

Slick looking site. And ranking well already!

It's already ranking 3rd for the term "Stamp Duty Calculator" with zero backlinks according to Yahoo SE?!?

Do you know about some special Google loopholes that the rest of us (or at least I) don't know about?

:cool::D

What Google loop hole LMAO, some 30 second analysis shows me that this website is using Article Syndication plus a bunch of links from various root domains like 20 + sites..

C'mon James, that's not cool! Nothing wrong with using the same article over and over again either on these article directories. The links still count.

Whats not cool??? Cncventure said their was a loop hole in Google because the site had no links??

As for the article's it all depends what strategy you want to go with, I mean its not the highest quality approach to use the same piece of content on all article syndication its better to spin the content and use different titles at least because Google will not index it all, but people are fine to use what ever works best for them and it seems to be working =).

I stand corrected. I must admit I just glanced at YSE because I had it open and saw there were no links in and thought it was odd.

The question is not whether spun articles are cool or not, it's whether they got sustainability from a back link perspective.

What higher quality strategies would you suggest? and what have you found works best?

Spinning articles and using different title tags and unique content works best.

Also Anchor text diversity works well too not targeting 30 root domains with the same anchor text + Deep link ratio.

And Yahoo is not the best site to get link data from, I mean open site explorer is decent if the site is aged.

News articles get copied/pasted all the time and you don't see them suffer for it. AP would have an awful time if that was the case.

Unique content for my sites, dupe content everywhere else. I'm only interested in the link, not whether it's in the main index. Supplementary index links count as well.

Yeah scraper sites rip content all day but the links they provide are never going to be high quality are they.

Like I said what ever strategy works best for you go with it, I personally do not mess with much dup content.
