There's one enduser and I think you'd run into trademark issues if you tried to sell it to them.
While they wouldn't have exclusive use of the term 'xxxx', this domain matches the product where they would have trademarked use of the term. I sense trouble.brewing

What is the hope here, the xxxx people will get up one morning and think "is there such as thing as .beer?, if so we must have xxxx.beer" Clutching at straws registering names like this.

Look for names with multiple obvious buyers.

No expectations on this one, I have a mate who owns a few pubs around the place, he wants to use it for promotions. I thought if i provide a sub domain to him it alleviates any TM issues, and may bring in some dollars above the reg fee for advertising etc.

I would stay well clear of this personally..

Avoid anything that remotely resembles a trademark, this was an obvious one to avoid imo
