Hi All

About three months ago, I started onlinestaff.com.au an online outsourcing job site, the reason for starting such business is that I notice for a lot of small and medium businesses to grow and be more competitive, outsourcing would be a must.

So I created a job site allowing Australian Small and Medium business owners to outsource their full time, part time or casual jobs aboard.

Growth in the past month haven't been massive and due to lack of time and budget I am struggling to find that each punch I needed to left this business off the ground.

Therefore i am seeking an partner to help work on this project together and try to see kick start this business into something big.

Any suggestions or advises are welcomed as well

Is the for outsourcing to overseas only? Or are the local Aussie VAs etc. that can be engaged also?

There is so much of this going on, and also many local people pitted against the philapines.

So do you see oDesk and Elance and the others as compeditors on your marketplace?

Yes I notice alot of aussie are actually offering va service at any affordable price, Its always good to keep the jobs in australia if possible, I am happy to have a chat with you and try work something out that can benefit both of us.

Just as a I side note, I'd be careful with hiring Aussie VA's if you are planning to put them on full time in an ongoing fashion.

Those with more expertise please feel free to correct me, but my understanding is that if you employ an Australian (even if intitally as a contractor) on a full time basis they will be entitled to all the benefits that come with being a permanent full time employee, ie sick leave, holidays, super, etc.

That is one of the big reasons I DON'T hire Australian VAs/desigers/content writers/etc for positions that are ongoing... I don't want the legal/administrative headaches.
