    Hi guys,

Just a quick note to let you all know that we are now a .so accredited registrar.

We will be taking new registrations and transfers from Monday 18 April at a special introductory price of $13.95 per year. The standard price is $17.95 per year.

I'll let you all know once our system is able to accept these domains. :)

    I love ventraip
They are fantastic to reg names and to host
But buggered if I know why they waste their time, money and energy getting accreditation for obscure ccTLDs like Somalia, when the locals here in Australia are screaming out for a Domain name reseller program, (like at intaserve ) and a paperless COR process ( like at Drop )

All of these registries are EPP based, and our system is so modular that it takes us less than an hour to "snap in" a new registry.

Snap in .nz and you'll have a new client most likely.

I think the whole problem with the .so registry has really stuffed things up for VentraIP. From what I've seen, almost EVERYONE wanted one of these domains, then there are registration problems, a scam like auctioning of popular domains and forced refunds. Lose/lose situation here. :(

    HAHAHA.

I'm failing to see the humour, care to enlighten me?

I'm annoyed at NR for not allowing me to merge my NR & Zip accounts, my other registrar of choice also don't handle .co.uk or .co.nz and i'm looking for a home for my portfolio so they can live happily together.

I thought I may just have found that, but it seems the advertised ability to handle .nz isn't valid currently.

For .nz domains, we are just waiting on a final piece of admin work to be completed before we can start selling them on the live system. It has been held up due to the earthquake in Christchurch and we haven't been pushing them because it seemed a little rude given the circumstances.
