my 8yr old max brings his ipad up to me and wants to download an imovie extension $8.
no present he and his sister creat ipad movies every week for fun, crop them, merge them special effects etc and with NOOOOOOOOO help from me.
i just can't GET video? never have, photography no probbbbssssss i know it backthe front inside out.

SO, i say no, but i think i have adobe premier cs6 on my computer so open up youtube.......... i select a tutorial for him ( 16minutes) and say " learn this and report back to me.
17minutes later he comes and says " yeh, easy " !!!
so i open up the program and watch him ............ after a 16 minutes tutorial ! import a video file and splice it and add a music overlay !
F me he's 8yrs old.
no doubt someones 4 yr old is already doing it

i'm constantly amazed and i'd rather have them CREATING then WATCHING

I spent 12 months doing the Diploma in Screen & Media full time.

We learnt Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, After Effect and a few more..

I did a weeks work and a radio station group and wanted to make a video for their social media. I asked what software they use as I was on their machines.

The answer was iMovie.
