in the year 2000 I almost registered that as a business name so I could register the domain and trade as "up" but my friends thought it was rubbish, I think it sold for @ $3000 some years back, interesting to see it dropping today on a PD client request.

Will be interesting to see what it gets, I would say the holding costs on picking up a name then and holding till now would be maybe $700-$800 assuming you did nothing in terms of making changes etc.

Almost 2k difference between Drop and Netfleet on that one.

I think it went at a pretty reasonable price.

$3647 is definitely way better than $5399. I'm sure the buyer would agree. :)

Still not a record for 2 letter domains though - I sold WE dot com dot au last year for quite a bit more. And the irony is that the buyer has done bugger all with it.
