i honestly have no opinion on this, i just find it fasinating on how the uk market do business, i am not saying they do in right or wrong but i'm personally just investigating how they do it for myself.

The domain owner who was letting those domains drop was simply trying to make a couple of £ by offering them for sale.

It may have been the case that a few of those domains were targets on catchers lists. So it gave them the opportunity to purchase pre drop instead of possibly competing post drop with more catchers.

Plus when you have so many domains as they do your rubbish may be someone else's gold.

When those domains were suspended, 92 days before they drop people start to see them on droplists they compile. You can renew domains anytime right upto the point of dropping so worth posting lists like that rather than letting them drop without trying to sell them.
