I've seen a few more of these popping up lately. I always use menulog.com.au but it's the first one I came across.

Anyone have much of an idea where the money is in this industry? What's the upside for restaurants to use more than 1 provider? The main reason I began using menulog was it's easier to type in a credit card than read it out over the phone which inevitably leads to needing to repeat it. I'm guessing because menulog.com.au process the charge, they get to hold the balance and pass it on to the restaurant minus a fee every week/fortnight/month?

Definitely an interesting space to watch.

In addition to EatNow.com.au, they also purchased Takeaways.com.au and Mytable.com.au.
