Startups and their domain names

Despite the fact that in the past quarter the value of some very high profile companies such as LinkedIn and Twitter have fallen substantially it was yet another solid week for newly formed companies on the hunt for venture capital. $415,084,680 was raised among 75 startups.

It will be interesting to see how a year on, what startups are using now? Anyone have more current sorts of stats?

We have a list of 88 startup companies this week that raised $212,884,880 in venture funding. 66% of them is using a .com for their domain name with the ccTLD taking the second spot with a 17% share.

Interesting seeing the static changes to 66% of them are using .com
