Just finished 2 days at SMX Melbourne with Chris, great presenters, loads of info to now soak in, its a really nice environment and run very well i think, its my second time and basically almost NOTHING that was current last time is current now.

Chris and I had a great time swapping info as we all hear different things and we plan to have a meeting to run through it again to solidify it all.

basically i think chris and i both agree on a few things:

ohhh bugger more work to do !!!
we aren't charging enough for our knowledge
ooh bugger need to go and fix A LOT of things on our sites and clients sites.
and also
we aren't charging enough for our knowledge
we aren't charging enough for our knowledge
we aren't charging enough for our knowledge
we aren't charging enough for our knowledge

Charge what you feel is right for the market, It is hard to benchmark yourself against the likes of Brent D Payne for example or Richard Baxter as they can probably charge $500 a hour to corporate clients in US and UK.

At SMX Sydney I actually had to talk after Brent so that wasn't easy ;)

You are right and i had the wonderful opportunity tuesday with brent 1 on 1 to review my marketing strategy for my new wedding directory, 10 minutes of pure gold info.

for him to tell me i was on the right track, offer me a few tweeks to really nail it has certainly made my year.

Those few tweaks & tips are usually worth attending SMX for.

Not every preso will rock your socks off, but those tips during conversations make it worth it.
