Sleek Blue - Theme

Been working on a HTML theme in my break from uni. What do you guys think? Not completed etc but when it is I'll be releasing it for free if anyone want to use it.

I'm guessing you're referring to the column headings? That's intentional as an idea for the headings, but not sure if it works. Any other thoughts?

Yeah thats the one. I'd use something else there, it causes the page to fail validation.

Fixed. Just needed to use ASCII instead of < and > (due to html making use of them). What do you think of it in terms of looks though?

i was talking about in terms of the greater than and less than signs. You commented on the validation but not the looks of them. From what you just quoted though, I'm guessing you like the looks of them.

No I don't like those. Just have the text as the heading i'd say.

The overall look of the page is ok if you are trying to keep it simple.

I'd suggest tweaking the alignment...

- The left edge of the logo could align with the left edge of the Home tab
- Make the headings align left on your div boxes
- Remove indent on paragraphs and keep left aligned
- Align the right edge of the 'search' box with the right edge of the RHS div box
- Resize the nivoSlider to span the full width of the three div boxes below
- Centre or left align the 'read more' buttons (they look a little funny right aligned with the ragged edge paragraph text)
