I notice this being on news.com.au as a "Promoted story" next to the "How to buy an iPad for $30" stories.

Seems like this registry is stooping to new lows after the lacklustre take-up of this extension,

McGowan says .melbourne and .sydney offer a great land grab opportunity for potential investors to be the first to grab generic names.

I notice dntrade has been mentioned but I don't think the association with "getting rich quick" is a good one.

Saw that site mentioned earlier. The spot the domain stuff is bad sign for a domain extension. It is a bit like "Where's Wally", if Wally was all over the place the game would be pretty pointless.
