    Hi VentraIP,

I've been having this issue with your COR process where after the completion of the process, the Registrant Contact (where all the important emails about the domain names are sent to) still remains with the old registrant's contact details and not updated with the new owners email address and contact name.

I think this should be part of the COR process to update this detail when the new user provides details for the COR process.

Could you please look into this issue asap? It'll be causing a lot of complaints to you later when these domains expire without any notice to new owners due to old Registrant Contact detail.

    Cheers,

    Hi Acheeva,

I've sent you emails about this and some other things.

Could you please check your emails and reply back or please let me know if you haven't received them?

    Cheers,

The new details that are entered by the NEW registrant during the COR process are updated once the COR is completed to the tech and registrant contacts.

Drop in an email to management@ventraip.com.au with the domain so I can have a look into it for you.

    Contact Details

I have just noticed that the registrant contact has not been updated on many of the domains & the system is not allowing me to update them

I cannot lodge an eTicket as it continually throws up errors

What errors is it throwing up when you lodge an eTicket? Can you give me a screen shot please?

was thinking about starting a thread like this.

I sold 5 domains recently through NF AMA, did the COR through ventraip, my details are still listed as registrant contact name/email.

Okay guys, thanks for your help with this. We have infact isolated the problem to a small random bug with the end of the process that happens sporadically and we were unable to replicate during our testing.

Due to the examples you've all provided, we've now found the bug and have squashed it. The fix was rolled out this afternoon and corrects this bug going forward. However, for COR's that have already been performed where contacts weren't updated (not every COR was affected, only a small sample), these can easily be corrected by updating the contacts via VIPControl.

If you need any help, just lodge an eTicket with our customer care team and we can assist you. I've ensured all our guys and girls are aware of these issues, and will know exactly how to assist.

    Cheers,

    Angelo Giuffrida

    Angelo

Please be fair, this takes a lot of time & the service has already been paid for

Is it not possible to run a script to isolate these issues & fix them internally?

It is, which has now been done. :)

Any domain that was caught by the COR bug has now been corrected and the registrant contact details have now been updated to be that of what was provided to us during the COR submission. :)

Nice work. 4/5 of my CORs have been updated so just the one outstanding. I've alerted the buyer to this thread so no doubt he can sort it out.
