Question about the best time to sell domains/ Websites?

Hi All,

I was just thinking something last night,

I currently have 2 separate packages of domains and websites I want to sell in 2 groups.

Most of this stuff generates income so I will probably sell it off on Flippa.

Now my question is, when do you think is a good time to sell this stuff?

I know we are coming into Christmas and people usually hold off on spending until late January?

what are your thoughts on this, when do you think the best time to sell websites/ domains is?

While a niche is hot, on the up and making bank is always the best time to sell...



Yeah personally wouldn't be trying to sell too much once we are in December, I'd wait until the second half of January, people are re-engergise and keen to tackle new projects.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, just wanted to see what others thoughts were on selling sites and what not during that time.

I usually get more buyers/clients over the holiday period, as quite a few ppl now have time to look at other projects during time off etc

I think now is the go, soon attention gets diverted to xmas gifts and other stuff like holidays

i think now is a bad time to sell, for the past 12 years i have basically done NO selling from dec till feb 1st , its cool for me because i know each year its going to happen.

you simple can't get peoples attention in the lead up to xmas.

i've had it twice this week so i'm now just doing my stuff and not burning colddddddddddddddddd doors, wait till they warm up in late jan.

i'm sure this person won't mind me mentioning this but a member is trying to sell me a few domains, i like them, i've told him i do, but there is no way i am going to buy the till next year, my mind is on xmas for the kids already.

For Flippa specifically, the strongest weeks tend to start in mid-January. That's an excellent time to list, as many buyers are looking for new opportunities in the new year.
