Hi all,

Friend of mine who works with me has set up a site, looking to get some feedback, I have helped him with a lot of consulting on this project lol... Comes to me every lunch at work asking a million questions...

Still alot of bugs to fix but yeah check it out and post some feedback -

good effort. I'd be a little concerned about having heaps of thin pages and relying on UGC to flesh them out.

Yeah I raised the concern with him having all the UGC thin content pages, think he is generating some unique content to assist with this issue.

I like the look of it.

As mentioned, pretty thin on content though.

The search box seems to have a loading imaging just hanging there.

Also i'd change (c) to ©.

I spidered it and found a few issues but was expecting to find heaps more given the size of the site.

Found a few 404's, mainly logo images.

Dupe titles on these sort of pages http://www.air-guru.com/all-airlines/c
Maybe noindex,follow them.

Some duplication of URLs caused by trailing slash vs non-trailing slash.
e.g.
http://www.air-guru.com/contact/
http://www.air-guru.com/contact
http://www.air-guru.com/
http://www.air-guru.com

Could sort that with mod rewrite or being careful where you link. Or not, doesn't seem like a big issue and I'm nit picking.

Your mate is gonna need a stack of content and links. It's a good platform, though, could probably do well selling out to a big company.
