Paypal Payment Gateway

Morning all, Happy Friday!

Has anyone had any experience with paypal recurring payment gateway?
Im tossing up between Eway and Paypal.

Payments will need to be made monthly in order keep listing active.

If anyone has used either would be great to hear your experience!

I've used PayPal recurring payments for a subscription service for software before and it worked well.

Only used eWay for one off payment processing.

eWay offer recurring transactions, as well token payments so you can manage the recurring payments from your system.

I've used eWay extensively. The Rebilling system is good as is Token & Direct payments API. Their support team is great too.

I built a Woocommerce plugin recently to handle eWay Subscriptions.

My only two issues (apart from the fees) is that you can't take out a payment instantly (you have to integrate one of the other APIs if you need that), and there is no ability to pause (only create and delete).

The payments are processed Friday mornings at 2am. Not sure if that can be changed.
