Online Change of Registrant (COR) for .au domains now available!

Today we have launched our new online Change of Registrant process which is now fully automated and online, meaning you don't need those bothersome paper forms anymore.

We have been beta testing the process for a while now and all issues appear to be corrected.

Our price for COR's remain unchanged at a market-leading $39.95 which includes the new 2 year registration on the domain name.

Heheheh - ok, disclosure. I absolutely love, wholeheartedly recommend, and almost exclusively use VentraIP for all of my domains (Regardless of TLD) and web hosting needs.

Like I said before, market share? Not that much yet. Mindshare? Probably more than their market share.

@VentraIp - when you say automated, how long does it take, and what steps are involved? Thanks.

 

You start the process via VIPControl as the domain name needs to be with us.

Once started you receive an email with a link to begin the process, new registrant details are required from the new registrant, the current and existing registrants agree to the process and then once we received confirmation we verify all the information is valid and then process it with one click which updates the registrant, domain contacts and sends an email to the existing and new registrant advising its been completed.

I'm being very vague with detail to avoid the entire thing being copied by others...

So my next questions is when's your domain name reseller platform going to be live?

 

We're getting there.. slowly but surely. Rolling out the new online COR process was a priority to ensure we launch the new system with all the features that are requested and iron out any bugs. We've also built in SSLs to the system, which has a 100% working API, and completed WHMCS module. So certain parts of the system are complete, others are slowly getting there.

We've got a few resellers using the system to work out any bugs and also ensure we launch with minimal problems.

When we're ready to go live you'll definitely hear about it.

Does COR include 2 years Reg?

I'm a customer of yours and noticed in my account when a domain changes ownership you are not giving the 2 years reg to go with the domain COR fee you charge. Is this a mistake or something DNT members need to know?

BTW your new system for COR is very good.

As shown in my account with the domain name not being revealed.
